The
shiny people are the good guys, the talented, the intellectuals, the brave ones, the Übermenschen. They glare in the grey crowd.
In
shiny people in the crowd, they are litteraly placed in the middle of a crowd of grey anonymous silhouttes. The simplification of the figures into line figures reduces the difference between the shiny people and the crowd onto it’s essence. How the shiny people or the grey people look like is not important. The difference is incapsulated in their shining.
De
shiny people zijn de good guys, de getalenteerden, de intelligenten, de Übermenschen. Ze vallen op in de grijze massa omdat ze stralen. In
shiny people in the crowd worden ze letterlijk in een menigte van anonieme grijze silhouetten geplaatst. Het abstraheren van de figuren wordt tot het uiterste doorgedreven waardoor het verschil in voorstelling tussen de
shiny people en de meute tot in de essentie herleid wordt. Hoe de shiny people of de mensen in de grijze menigte eruit zien is van geen belang. Het verschil zit hem in het stralen.
